“Debut” ONE “YG’s first male solo artist in 14 years… Feeling a sense of burden but controlling it”
[OSEN=김은애 기자] ONE talked about how he feels for his solo debut.
ONE said, “It didn’t seem real all the way until I arrived here today. I still can’t believe I’m making solo debut”, at a press meeting held on July 11 in the afternoon at CGV in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in celebration of the release of his debut album “ONE DAY”.
ONE went on to say, “I have been preparing for my solo debut for two or three years. That was the time to find out who I am. I have been pondering upon who I am and what style is the best for me”.
ONE also expressed his gratitude by saying, “I’ve learned a lot at YG. Great artists including Mr. YANG HYUN SUK and TEDDY and KUSH have helped me a lot. I look forward to my new beginning”.
“Of course I feel a sense of burden about the fact that I’m YG’s first male solo artist in 14 years. Anyway, I’m controlling the burden, trying to enjoy working”, added ONE.
