iKON Talks about YANG HYUN SUK, Alcohol Tolerance, and Who Looks The Most Handsome on Cultwo Show
[일간스포츠=정여진 기자] iKON went on Cultwo Show and not only did voice imitations but also live performances of their new songs.
iKON went on SBS PowerFM’s Cultwo Show on May 29 and talked about a variety of things.
Host Jung Chanwoo asked CHAN, who has the same name as him, what his name means after telling him that CHAN is the first person to pop up when you search the name “Jung Chanwoo”. CHAN answered, “My parents did not pick the name. They went to a name-making place.” He went on to say, “When I was younger, people used to call me crazy cow.” Host Jung Chanwoo sympathized with him and said “It must have been hard”. Host Kim Taekeun made everyone laugh by saying, “I’m in the same boat as you.”
When asked about their new album, B.I said, “The songs are very upbeat and very like us. ‘BLING BLING’ is a song that has deep intense hip hop beats, and ‘B-DAY’ is an exciting song.”
They also talked about the head of their agency YANG HYUN SUK. Members said that he always pays much attention to the choreography and sometimes even make changes, but he took extra care with the choreography for this album. JAY said, “He even made changes to the point dance moves in the hook part of ‘B-DAY’, which was about 0.2 seconds long.”
They also revealed how much they can drink. Apparently, JU-NE and JAY can drink the most. JAY said, “I’m not that much of a heavy drinker. I can drink two or three bottles of soju.” JU-NE went on to say, “We drank with PSY the other day. He used to drink a lot, but nowadays, he got weak and that day, he drank the same amount of soju as JAY.” CHAN made everyone laugh by saying, “PSY can’t drink a lot. He just looks drunk all the time.”
iKON members also said that they are shy, and that’s why they don’t have many celebrity friends. But, they showed off their funny side by imitating the voices of Kwon Sangwoo and YANG HYUN SUK. They also talked about who looks the most handsome among them. JAY said, “I think I’m third place” and picked BOBBY as the ugliest. BOBBY responded, “I think I’m definitely the best-looking member. The ugliest member is JAY. Looks are not just about your face. It has many elements, and he is just too short.”
