[OSEN=이소담 기자] YG Entertainment’s head YANG HYUN SUK boasted his friendship with world-famous street pop artist Mr. Brainwash and hinted on a project between Brainwash and YG.
YANG HYUN SUK posted his photo taken with Brainwash on the 21 on his Instagram.
The photo was taken when YANG HYUN SUK visited Brainwash’s exhibition in Seoul before its official opening. At that time, YANG visited Brainwash with PSY, TEDDY, and CL.
YANG also posted Brainwash’s painting of YANG HYUN SUK and BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON. Brainwash painted YANG as he has personal connection with him. Brainwash picked G-DRAGON as Korean representative for his painting.
Brainwash is known to draw paintings of the most famous people in the world. Therefore, his painting of YG artists proves YG’s global standing. The painting of G-DRAGON is exhibited in the Seoul exhibition of Brainwash.
YANG HYUN SUK talked about his friendship with Brainwash to OSEN, “We agree on many things, so we have met in Seoul for three times so far. Then, we agreed to do a fun project together”.
Brainwash will visit Korea again one month later, to carry out a new collaboration project with YG, so pop art fans and YG fans’ anticipation is rising high.
