AKMU is sweeping music charts for two days in a row… “Holding an event for fans to listen to AKMU’s new songs today (May 5)”
[enews24=전수미 기자] AKMU is enjoying enormous popularity with their new album sweeping music charts for two days after its release.
AKMU’s new album released on May 4 at 0 o’clock is drawing big popularity, sweeping No.1 place on eight major music charts: Melon, Genie, Mnet, NAVER Music, Olleh Music, Bugs, Soribada, and Monkey 3 as of May 5 at 9am.
Notably, not title track “RE-BYE” but “Green Window” is staying in No.1 place on Monkey 3 chart. Despite great flood of new songs released every day, six out of 10 songs in AKMU’s “SPRING Vol.1” are ranked in top 10 on music charts including Genie, Olleh, Mnet, NAVER, bugs, and Soribada.
Plus, the album is proving AKMU’s popularity overseas by taking No.1 place on the iTunes albums charts of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Thailand.
AKMU who is boasting big influence on charts upon their comeback will hold an event titled “SPRING in Seoul Forest” today at 3pm at outdoor stage of Seoul Forest on Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Fans will be able to listen to AKMU’s new songs at the event, including the first live performance of the new songs. The event will be a good present for music fans who visit the forest for the Children’s Day.
Before the event, V-Live counter for it will be opened on May 5 at 10am. The event will be live-broadcast on NAVER V-App, so fans who are not present at Seoul Forest will also be able to enjoy AKMU’s new songs.
