Videos of “MY TYPE” and “CLIMAX”’s performances presented at iKON’s debut concert “SHOWTIME” are unveiled. The videos are drawing keen attention, as they vividly show the energy and excitement of the concert that created sensation by staging the performance of “MY TYPE” for the first time. ‘MY TYPE” swept top places on music charts after its release on the 15 last month.
YG Entertainment unveiled two videos under the title of “iKON MY TYPE LIVE PERFORMANCE” and “iKON ‘CLIMAX’ LIVE PERFORMANCE” on NAVER TV CAST, on the 21 in the afternoon.
The videos show performances presented at iKON’s debut concert “SHOWTIME” that was held on the 3 this month at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall in Seoul. They are vividly showing the fresh and dynamic performance of “MY TYPE” staged with the audience, as well as the performance of “CLIMAX” that gave unforgettable memory to fans to make the concert hall full of tears.
The videos also include the iKON members’ self-camera video that depicts the audience acclaiming for the performance of “MY TYPE” presented for the first time since the release of the music on the 15 last month, as well as the images of iKON’s close communication with fans, including a stage performed with fans.
iKON held a concert right upon their debut at the Olympic Gymnastics Hall, one of the largest concert halls in Korea, which is a rare case for a rookie idol group. All the 13,000 tickets of the concert were sold out, to prove high popularity of iKON. With the loud acclamation of fans who have long been waiting for iKON’s debut, iKON presented perfect and passionate live performances of total 15 songs including three encore songs.
The music video of “MY TYPE” which was released on the 15 last month is recording 10,770,000 views on YouTube as of the 21 at noon, soon to reach 11 million views.
Meanwhile, iKON is currently carrying out Japan fan meeting tour “iKON FAN MEETING 2015 IN JAPAN ~iKONTACT~” that began in Tokyo on the 10 to continue in Aichi, Fukuoka, and Osaka to draw 26,600 fans to total 12 meetings. Following fan meetings held on the 17 and 18, iKON will meet Korean fans in their third autographing event to be held on the 28 (Wed.) at IFC Mall located in Yeoui-do, Seoul, in celebration of the release of debut half album.
