YG unveiled congratulatory image for 9th anniversary of BIGBANG’s debut… “SINCE 2006”

YG Entertainment unveiled an image that celebrates the 9th anniversary of BIGBANG’s debut on the 19 this month, on the company’s official blog YG LIFE.
The image is catching the eyes with a big number “9” and the mosaic of BIGBANG’s photos. It shows the history of BIGBANG for the past nine years, from single album “Bigbang” released in 2006 to “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” released recently.
BIGBANG has been rushing with their “MADE SEIRES” for recent four months since May this year. They have released new songs every month and been carrying out world tour in which they meet 1.4 million global fans around the world. The tickets of the tour have been sold out within a few minutes of opening in every city where a concert is held, and new songs released in “MADE” project have topped iTunes chart of 16 countries, showing the team’s global popularity. At the same time, an unprecedented record was also set in Korea, with BIGBANG songs in the No.1 place on major music-streaming websites’ monthly charts for three months in a row.
As “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE”, BIGBANG’s new song for this August, has taken the No.1 on the weekly chart of major music websites for two consecutive months, music fans are now paying keen attention to whether BIGBANG will be able to top monthly music charts for four months in a row.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG has decided to have some time for recharging by postponing the release of full-length album which had originally been scheduled for September 1.
