WINNER Completes WWIC 2015 in China: 13,000 Local Fans Ecstatic
[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG’s WINNER held the first WORLDWIDE INNER CIRCLE CONFERENCE 2015 (WWIC) in China’s Shenzhen on Jan 24, completing the round in the Chinese region in a huge success.
WINNER was in Beijing on Jan 10 and Shanghai on Jan 17 for the WWIC 2015, attracting 4,000 and 6,500 local fans respectively. And on Jan 24 they were in Shenzhen’s BAO’AN GYMNASIUM, joined by 3,000 fans, to put an end to their dynamic WWIC 2015 in the Chinese region. A total of 13,500 fans went wild cheering for YG’s boy band.
The latest WWIC 2015 was held in a form of a conference, where the members of WINNER presented their past and future visions while also encouraging fans to engage by playing games.
WINNER greeted the fans in their local language, impressin them, and showcased a total of 9 songs from their debut album “2014 S/S” including “EMPTY” and “COLOR RING.” It certainly made the fans ecstatic.
After the concert was finished, WINNER and NAM TAE HYUN became the most-searched words on China’s Weibo. The local fans left positive comments like, “So happy all 5 of them came to Shenzhen,” and “It was touching that they sang ‘EMPTY’ and ‘COLOR RING’ in Chinese.”
WINNER, now successfully finished with the concert in the Chinese region, will return to Seoul to perform on Jan 31 at the Seoul Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena and then will move on to Japan to continue on with the WWIC 2015 in February.
