WINNER is “Exceptionally” Invited to China’s Most Popular Holiday Show
[OSEN=김사라 기자] YG Entertainment’s new boy group WINNER proved their high popularity in China, being invited to the country’s most popular holiday season entertainment show.
WINNER is invited to “2014-2015 Hunan Satellite TV’s New Year’s Concert (“Hunan TV New Year’s Concert) that will be held on December 31 at 7:30pm at Guangzhou International Sports and Entertainment Center, to perform “empty” and “Just another boy”.
“Hunan TV New Year’s Concert” is a special end-of-year show that wraps up the past year and celebrates the new year, which is live-broadcasted nationwide in China. It is also one of the most popular shows in the country, which recorded the highest viewership rating last year.
Notably, WINNER’s appearance in the show in which usually top Chinese stars perform is drawing large attention. WINNER has stood on the stage of YG Family’s China concert or China concert of 2NE1’s world tour but has carried out no official promotion in the country. Considering that, WINNER’s appearance in the show is very exceptional.
