TAEYANG’s “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” Received 2014MAMA Grand Prize – Best Song of the Year
[스타뉴스 홍콩=문완식, 길혜성 윤성열 이지현 기자] Group BIGBANG’s TAEYANG received Song of the Year at end-of-year music award “2014 Mnet Asian Music Award” (2014 MAMA). Song of the Year Award is one of the three grand prizes of the award.
TAEYANG received Song of the Year Award for “EYES, NOSE, LIPS”, title track of his solo album, at 2014 MAMA held on the 3 in the afternoon at Asia World Expo Arena in Hong Kong. The award is given to a singer (or team) who release the best of the year.
TAEYANG said, “It took so much time to produce this album, it now I think it was for making this song. I was so happy during this year. I’m really grateful”.
2014 MAMA awarded albums and, music released from October 23 last year to October 27 this year, and the singers (teams) of the music. The winner of each segment was selected by summing the result of viewers’ vote (Internet and mobile), evaluation by expert judge panel, preference survey by professional research institution, record of album’s sales, rank on digital charts (music sales), and evaluation by selection committee.
