MASTA WU Takes Part in “YG HIPHOP PROJECT 2” with BOBBY… Who Is the Last One?
[동아닷컴 홍세영 기자] MASTA WU has turned out to be the second member to take part in YG Entertainment (“YG”)’s second new hip-hop project.
On the 28 at 0am, YG unveiled a teaser image of MASTA WU, the second member of “YG HIPHOP PROJECT 2”, on YG’s official blog YG LIFE.
As total three musicians are known to be taking part in “YG HIPHOP PROJECT 2”, BOBBY was announced to be the first member on the 27. Then, now, as MASTA WU has turned out to be the second member, only one more artist is to be announced.
Before that, YG released “GOOD BOY”, a single of “YG HIPHOP PROJECT 1”’s unit with BIGBAGN’s G-DRAGON and TAEYANG. GOOD BOY has been sweeping charts upon its release, creating sensation.
Notably, the song is enjoying a big popularity not only in Korea but also in foreign countries, including Hong Kong and Taiwan. The song’s music video has also proven the two member’s big influence, by surpassing 1.3 million views within half a day from its release.
Meanwhile, “YG HIPHOP PROJECT 2” will be released on the 2 next month, at 0am.
