BOBBY-B.I’s Third Survival… Showing “Remarkable” Growth
[OSEN=박현민 기자] YG Entertainment (“YG”)’s trainee BOBBY and B.I are to appear in a new survival program, which will be the third time for them to appear in a survival audition show.
Last year, BOBBY and B.I appeared in cable channel Mnet’s “WHO IS NEXT: WIN” show that gave birth to YG’s rookie boy group WINNER, as the members of TEAM B. This year, they have appeared in rapper survival show “Show Me The Money 3”, in illionaire and YG team respectively. Now, they are jumping into another survival show, “MIX & MATCH”.
“MIX & MATCH” is YG’s new survival audition program designed to select the members of its new boy group. Total nine candidates – TEAM B members including BOBBY and B.I and three new YG trainees – will compete in the show.
Considering the fact that BOBBY and B.I demonstrated their remarkable growth in the previous two survival audition shows to enhance the public’s recognition of them, they are expected to be the forerunners to become the members of YG’s new boy group, among the nine candidates of “MIX & MATCH” show.
TEAM B members who have already become famous by appearing in “WIN” show, as well as the three “new faces” will make their first public appearance in “MIX & MATCH”’s press conference to be held on the 2 in the afternoon at Conrad Hotel located in Yeouido, Seoul.
YG’s head producer YANG HYUN SUK will explain about the battle of “MIX & MATCH” at the press conference that will be hosted by BIGBANG member DAESUNG and actress YOO IN NA.
Meanwhile, “MIX & MATCH” will be aired on Mnet and NAVER at the same time.
