TAEYANG’s comeback imminent: public countdown of “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” MV begins
[OSEN=권지영 기자] Public countdown timer is set in motion for the music video of TAEYANG’s 2nd full album’s title track “EYES, NOSE, LIPS.”
On its official blog at 0 hour of June 2, YG Entertainment uploaded a public countdown timer for the music video of TAEYANG’s new “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” that is to be unveiled at midnight of June 2.
Behind the black-and-white timer, TAEYANG looks into the camera in a foreign setting. Dressed in a black jacket, TAEYANG’s alluring yet powerful glare immediately grabs the attention.
With the image, YG added a caption that read “EYES, NOSE, LIPS MV&NEW ALBUM [RISE] RELEASE” together with “2014.06.02 12 p.m.” Thus YG made it public that along with the music video, the digital track will be released at midnight.
TAEYANG previously unveiled the track list, two black-and-white teaser images and a teaser video that resembled a preview of a movie—all to which the fans responded enthusiastically.
Through “FROM YG,” the agency’s executive producer YANG HYUN SUK built the expectations even higher for the upcoming music video. He wrote, “This was the first time for me to propose an idea for a music video for a YG artist since Big Mama’s ‘BREAK AWAY’ music video 11 years ago. That is how much affection I have for ‘EYES, NOSE, LIPS’.”
“EYES, NOSE, LIPS” is an R&B slow song that maximizes TAEYANG’s sentimental voice. TAEYANG, who excited the fans with his powerful performance of the provocative and straightforward song “RINGA LINGA,” is back with a 2nd full album for the first time in 4 years since 2010 when he released his 1st one. All eyes are on TAEYANG to see what he has for us this time.
