AKMU’s “GIVE LOVE” Choreography Video Disclosed … Fresh & Bubbly
[OSEN=박현민 기자] Sibling duo AKDONG MUSICIAN (“AKMU”) has disclosed a choreography video of their third title track “GIVE LOVE”.
At 10 am of May 14, a choreography video of “GIVE LOVE”, which music fans had selected as the third title song of AKMU’s debut album, was posted on YG Entertainment’s (“YG”) official blog (www.yg-life.com).
The sibling, LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SOO HYUN, were wearing black-and-white clothes and couple caps with letters like “MintChan” (mint + CHAN HYUK) and “Soovely (SOO HYUN + lovely) on them. Their adorable and fresh looks that fit the cheerful lyrics also drew attention. In the intro of the song’s choreography, the duo show lovely gesture and fresh looks and act as if they are talking to one another according to the lyrics, which makes an adorable scene.
In particular, they caught fans’ eyes when they danced along with other dancers to the refrain containing their refreshing vocal “Give Love. give me some love / Give Love. I need more love” by making heart-shaped hand moves.
The song, which was inspired by a mobile game where people exchange ‘hearts’, is gaining popularity as its refreshing refrain and AKMU’s charming vocal go well with beautiful spring days. Its lyrics are about an adorable boy who has given all his love growing in his heart to the girl he has crush on and prays that he needs more love to give her.
All songs of AKMU’s debut album ‘PLAY’ were written, composed and produced by LEE CHAN HYUK and the album is receiving good reviews being loved by fans for a long time.
One of their title songs “200%” took the No.1 on Mnet’s ‘M-Countdown’ and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ for three weeks in a row, allowing AKMU to achieve two Triple Crowns at the same time. Also, the duo has taken the first place on Melon’s ‘Artist Top 20’ and ‘Album Top 20’ for five consecutive weeks, which is unusual for new singers.
AKMU will start the TV performance of their third title track “GIVE LOVE” at Mnet’s ‘M-Countdown’ on the 15 and will show the adorable dance moves they revealed in the video as well.
