[스포츠동아=홍세영 기자] YG Entertainment’s girl group 2NE1’s music video of their 2nd regular album title “COME BACK HOME” received more than 10 million hits on YouTube.

At 3:50 p.m. on April 22, 2NE1’s “COME BACK HOME” music video, which was officially revealed on YouTube on March 2, received more than 10 million hits. Such success came after only a month and a half after it was revealed. This is the second time for a K-POP music video to receive such many hits this year, following Girls’ Generation’s “Mr.Mr.”

A music video for “HAPPY,” one of the tracks on 2NE1’s 2nd regular album, was also revealed on the same day and has already been viewed more than 4.9 million times on YouTube. It is expected to receive 5 million hits soon.

An immense amount was invested into the production of the music video for “COME BACK HOME,” receiving reviews that it reminded of a SF movie for its concept of a future city with an end-of-a-century ambiance. The music video for “HAPPY” also attracted attention with images that made 2NE1’s charms to stand out.

Meanwhile, BOM is expected to emerge as the new talent of Korea’s entertainment business as she plans to appear on SBS’ new entertainment show, The Roommate, in which she will be sharing a room with a Korean supermodel Lee Sora.
