PSY, BIGBANG, 2NE1 performance relay with LADY GAGA
[OSEN=권지영 기자] Lady Gaga’s concert will be held at the same venue where YG FAMILY CONCERT, a concert including YG artists like PSY, BIGBANG and 2NE1, will take place.
The concerts will be held for 2 days at Jamsil Sports Complex on August 15 and 16 under the title “AIA Real Life: NOW Festival 2014.”
The upcoming festival will accommodate top artists from the East and West for special performances through the combination of Live Nation’s global network and YG Entertainment’s powerful contents.
YG Entertainment boldly decided all YG FAMILY artists will be partaking on the 15th, indicating its ambition to showcase a memorable performance through unveiling a group of top artists.
YG FAMILY is drawing global attention with their solid color and powerful music. These are few of the many top artists to be on stage: PSY, who dominated global pop market through the mega-viral “GANGNAM STYLE,’ BIGBANG, who travelled across 24 cities in 12 countries joined by 800,000 fans at a total of 48 concerts for their World Tour, 2NE1, whose new album “CRUSH” broke the record of Korean pop when they were listed #61 on Billboard album chart, and WINNER, a newbie group from a survival program that is garnering high popularity across the globe even before their official debut.
The pop icon Lady Gaga will be at the Festival on the 16th as a headliner. She sold more than 4 million tickets for her World Tour, and she aroused much attention when she broke the ticket-sales record in South Korea for a foreign artist, while also ranking #1 for ticket sales that year.
The diva chose South Korea as her first Tour destination, showing much affection for the country, and drew attention when she invited the K-Pop sensation Crayon Pop as guest artists for her opening of the upcoming American Tour this summer. Fans are even more excited as South Korea and Japan are the only Asian countries she will be visiting for the 2014 Tour.
