TAEYANG trumps T.O.P on Inkigayo “Grateful to GD”
[OSEN=강서정 기자] YG’s group BIGBANG’s two members TAEYANG and T.O.P were up against each other, and TAEYANG seized victory, standing at the top.
On SBS’s Inkigayo aired on Nov 24, TAEYANG was up against a girl duo Davichi, and against his fellow BIGBANG member T.O.P. And the final victory was seized by TAEYANG.
Holding the trophy in his hand, TAEYANG asked, “Am I really #1?” and said, “I am so grateful. I thank my fans who helped me be where I am today. And I am grateful to G-DRAGON who wrote this awesome song for me.”
The song that helped TAEYANG seize victory is ‘Ringa Linga’, a rhythmical song with powerful rap and classy melody. ‘Ringa Linga’ holds TAEYANG’s unique singing voice and his hip-hop swag. The song was composed by TAEYANG’s friend of 13 years, G-DRAGON, along with other foreign composers. It is a song that encompasses the colors of both TAEYANG and G-DRAGON.
On Inkigayo the same day, other artists like 2NE1, miss A, TAEYANG, Davichi, FT Island, K Will, Ga Hee, U-KISS, Heo Gak, 100%, VIXX, Untouchable, BESTie, A-JAX, Wassup, Shin Ji Hoon, Yoo Seung Eun and Pure.
