Taeyang in White Mohican Hair & Robust Abs Heralds “Strong Comeback”
[일간스포츠 김진석] Big Bang member Taeyang (25, birth name Dong Young Bae) releases his brand-new song at midnight on the 8 this month.
On the day at midnight, Taeyang releases his new solo song “Ringa Linga” after three years of break, to come back as a solo artist.
On the 7, YG Entertainment disclosed dramatic teaser images of Taeyang’s comeback on its official blog, and in the images, he displays eye-catching abs. In those images, Taeyang boasts wild masculinity, showing off extreme tattoos, perfect abs, and white-colored Mohican hair style. This new look is completely opposite to his past styles.
At midnight on the 8, “Ringa Linga” will be preliminarily opened and the dance performance for the song will be disclosed. Then, at midnight of November 9, music video will be released. Ordinary promotions usually release music video with the music itself, but Taeyang discloses dance video first and then the music video the next day. This unusual type of promotion is drawing attention, too.
An YG insider said, “It is known that the best dancers in the USA took part in the recording of Taeyang’s dance video, so many people have high expectations for what choreography Taeyang, who is recognized as one of the best dancers in Korea, will show with the best dancers overseas.”
