G-DRAGON’s Team B wins the first battle on ‘WIN’
[OSEN=임영진 기자]‘WHO IS NEXT: WIN’, which is YG Entertainment’s real survival battle to determine the formation of a new boy group, held its first battle. And the victory was seized by Team B.
‘WIN’, aired on Sept 27, revealed the first battle between Team A and B, the teams which were trained and mentored by TAEYANG and G-DRAGON respectively. The winner of the first battle was Team B, which garnered much popularity and support from the judges for their relaxed and confident performances.
Yang Hyun Suk, the founder of YG, said after calling out Team B as the winner, “It’s not that Team A did a bad job. The criticism for you shows that you are scared of the counterpart.
You must not feel fear toward the other team.” CL gave a genuine advice to Song Min Ho, the leader of Team A, “If the audience doesn’t like your performance, that means you are responsible for it. You have to do everything and anything possible to lead the team to the right direction.”
‘WIN’ is a program that divides YG’s 11 trainees into Teams A and B for a fierce battle. There will be 3 battles in total throughout the 10 episodes. The winning team makes a debut to become the first boy group of YG in 8 years under the group name WINNER.
