YG, “T.O.P’s appearance in ‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’ not confirmed yet”
[OSEN=박현민 기자] YG Entertainment announced that BIGBANG’s T.O.P. is on the list for taking the role of the main character in Kang Hyung-chul’s film ‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’, and is still negotiating with the film industry personnel.
During the telephone conversation with OSEN on August 21, YG’s related personnel explained, “T.O.P is currently listed for the main character’s role, and we are in the midst of negotiation. But nothing has been confirmed yet. At the moment, T.O.P. is having negations for several other films apart from ‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’.”
The film industry personnel agreed and added, “T.O.P is one of the many actors listed for that role.”
‘Tazza 2: The High Rollers’ is directed by the famous Kang Hyung-chul, who directed other big hits like ‘Speedy Scandal’ and ‘Sunny’. Song Jun-gi and Kim Soo-hyun were listed as the main character, too, but decided to not take the role.
Meanwhile, T.O.P, who swept away all the new actor awards by appearing in ‘Into the Fire’, will be playing the main character in the upcoming ‘Alumni’ in the later half of the year.
