SEUNGRI’s solo album release date marks BIGBANG’s 7th anniversary
[이데일리 e뉴스 정시내 기자] BIGBANG’s 7th anniversary poster was unveiled.
YG Entertainment, to celebrate BIGBANG’s 7th anniversary, unveiled a poster written ‘7 FANTASTIC YEARS’ with Uranus, the 7th planet from the sun. The poster was uploaded on August 19 on YG’s official blog, marking their 7th anniversary.
SEUNGRI’s release of his 2nd solo mini album ‘LET’S TALK ABOUT LOVE’ on the exact date at noon made the anniversary an even more special one.
SEUNGRI, through his Facebook page, told the fans, “In the last 7 years we have been through so many things, and we would not be who we are now if it wasn’t for all those. I talked on the phone with other members before writing this, and we congratulated each other and reaffirmed our commitment for the group.”
He added, “My new songs that will be revealed in 12 years will be a celebratory album, marking the 7th anniversary of BIGBANG’s debut.”
Internet users who saw the poster commented, “BIGBANG, Happy 7th Anniversary!” “Ah, Uranus is the 7th one, not Pluto,” and “Please come back with many more good songs!”
SEUNGRI’s mini album goes on sale on different on/offline music stores on August 21, and he will start performing and promoting the album starting from August 22.
