A 13-year-old doing this? ··· YG reveals its third card
[스포츠경향=이선명 기자] The third member of YG Entertainment’s new girl group ‘NEXT MONSTER (tentative name)’ has been revealed.
YG Entertainment announced on the 30th that it uploaded the video ‘YG NEXT MONSTER | KAYCI – ’When We Were Young‘ on its official blog. Following EVELLI and CHANYA, the third member KAYCI has been introduced after 10 months.
KAYCI was born in 2012 to a Korean father and a Chinese mother and is currently 13 years old. Having grown up in China, she speaks Korean and Chinese at a native level and also uses English, making her trilingual. After just 1 year and 6 months of training, she was selected as an all-rounder capable of vocals, dance, and rap.
In the released video, KAYCI performed a ballad stage with a husky vocal tone.
With the reveal of KAYCI, YG now has only one member left to complete the final lineup of NEXT MONSTER. NEXT MONSTER will be YG’s third girl group following BLACKPINK and BABYMONSTER.
