[일간스포츠=박세연 기자] BABYMONSTER kicked off their first fan concert in Japan with an even more diverse setlist, delivering a powerful opening in Chiba.

According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER drew a total of 20,000 attendees over two days at the “BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] JAPAN FAN CONCERT 2025,” held on November 15–16 at Chiba Lalaport Arena Tokyo Bay. Their overwhelming performances turned the venue into a frenzy of excitement.

This fan concert marks their first standalone show in Japan in about seven months since their previous Japan tour, during which every stop had sold out. As the starting point, the Chiba concert generated such intense anticipation that cheers spilled outside the venue.

The opening stage kicked off with “WE GO UP,” a track that previously topped the Oricon chart for the first time. BABYMONSTER instantly ignited the venue with their powerful live vocals and energetic performance. Fans stood up for hits like “SHEESH” and “DRIP,” singing along loudly and elevating the atmosphere even further.

As this was their first standalone concert since releasing their 2nd mini album WE GO UP, the group continued the momentum with fresh stages unveiled for the first time, including “PSYCHO,” “Super Duper Love,” and “WILD”, showcasing their deepened musical color and new charms.

Lighting, lasers, pyrotechnics, flame columns, and other detailed stage effects combined with the live performance of their dedicated band to maximize BABYMONSTER’s signature intense stage energy. Additionally, official light stick pairing, dance challenges, Q&A segments, a moving cart, and signed ball giveaways enhanced the fan concert experience with interactive moments.

BABYMONSTER shared, “It was our first visit to Chiba, and we were deeply moved by the passionate cheers. Being able to see each person’s bright face up close made us incredibly happy, and MONSTIEZ’s enthusiastic support gave us great strength. We won’t forget how we felt today and will continue to repay you with even better performances.”

Starting with the Chiba concert, BABYMONSTER will hold eight shows across four Japanese cities, Aichi Nagoya IG Arena on November 22–23, Tokyo Ariake Arena on December 2–3, and Hyogo Zepion Arena Kobe on December 6–7. They will then expand to Asia with shows at Bangkok Impact Arena on December 27–28, and Taipei Arena on January 2–3, 2026, for a total of 12 concerts across six cities.
