BABYMONSTER Hits 10 Million Subscribers and Adds Another 300M-View MV… The Next YouTube Queens?

[스포츠서울=배우근 기자] BABYMONSTER has added another milestone to their list of achievements ahead of their October 10 comeback, their third music video to surpass 300 million views.
On September 28 at 2:58 a.m. KST, YG Entertainment announced that the music video for BABYMONSTER’s 1st full album title track “DRIP” surpassed 300 million views on YouTube. The video reached the milestone in about 331 days since its release on November 1, 2024, at 1 p.m.
Immediately after release, the “DRIP” MV shot straight to No.1 on YouTube’s “Most Viewed Video in 24 Hours” chart, stayed on the platform’s Global Daily Chart for 19 consecutive days, and crossed 100 million views in just 21 days. The track itself also made a strong impact on global charts, debuting at No.16 on Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and No.30 on the Billboard Global 200, marking the group’s highest chart positions to date.

With this, BABYMONSTER now holds three music videos with over 300 million views, following their record-breaking debut track “SHEESH” and pre-debut single “BATTER UP.”
Adding to their achievements, the group recently became the fastest K-pop girl group (based on debut date, just 1 year and 5 months) to surpass 10 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel, solidifying their reputation as the “next YouTube queens.”
Currently, BABYMONSTER boasts 11 videos with over 100 million views and a cumulative total of over 5.6 billion views across their channel. With such overwhelming momentum, fans and industry watchers alike are keeping a close eye on what’s next for the rising group.
