TREASURE’s Spring to Be Greeted with ‘YELLOW’
[OSEN=지민경 기자] group TREASURE is set to return this spring with a warm new song brimming with the season’s spirit. After capturing fans’ hearts with the refreshing charm of ‘LAST NIGHT’ in December, TREASURE is making a rapid comeback just three months later. They are slated to release their special mini-album [PLEASURE] at 6 PM on March 7th, marking their first activity of 2025 and signaling a fresh start.
The upcoming album [PLEASURE] is filled with delightful energy that brings to mind moments of happiness, as the title itself implies joy and pleasure.
The members have put their sincerity and effort into completing this special album as a way to give back to the fans for their love and support. The agency explained, “The new songs are infused with TREASURE’s warm emotions and cozy charm, promising a spring full of excitement for the fans.”
The title track, ‘YELLOW’, features a lively sound and a catchy chorus melody that stands out. It presents a fresh perspective on the colors of love through candid and straightforward lyrics, offering a feel-good thrill.
As the title ‘YELLOW’ suggests, the song transitions from the cold winter to the vibrant colors of spring, hinting at TREASURE’s unique musical world. Notably, ASAHI, CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO contributed to the lyrics, while ASAHI also participated in composing, adding authenticity to their work.
Additionally, TREASURE will kick off their global fan concert tour with a [SPECIAL MOMENT] performance at Kyung Hee University’s Peace Hall in Seoul on March 28, 29, and 30. The tour will expand to include the United States and Japan, meeting fans in four North American cities (New York, Washington DC, Oakland, Los Angeles) and four Japanese cities (Hyogo, Aichi, Fukuoka, Saitama).
This marks TREASURE’s first foray into the United States. Having solidified their global standing with previous Asian tours, they are expected to further broaden their fanbase in one of the world’s major music markets.
As per their activity plans unveiled last year, TREASURE is set to fill this year with a series of promotions, including the new album release, fan concert tour, and the launch of their third full album.
With their warm new song signaling the start of spring, anticipation is high for what TREASURE will achieve this year.
