YG Entertainment Seeks New Rookie to Follow in the Footsteps of BLACKPINK and BAEMON…Announces Nationwide Audition Tour
[연합뉴스=최주성 기자] YG Entertainment has announced that it will hold a large-scale nationwide audition tour from February 7th to 23rd, as revealed on January 21st.
The audition tour will kick off in Gwangju on the 7th and will continue in Daejeon on the 8th, Jeonju on the 9th, Daegu on the 15th, Busan on the 16th, and will conclude with two days in Seoul on the 22nd and 23rd. The auditions are scheduled to take place in a total of six cities over seven sessions.
The auditions are open to all youths residing in South Korea born between 2007 and 2014, regardless of gender or nationality. Applicants can choose to audition in one of the following categories: singing, rapping, dancing, or visuals.
YG has a history of launching popular K-POP groups such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, WINNER, and BABYMONSTER. The company stated, “We are eagerly awaiting new talents with potential and possibility to become the next gems of K-POP. We support the passion and challenge of all applicants.”
