Kang Seung-yoon’s solo album “WILD AND YOUNG” debuting on July 15
[티브이데일리 강효진 기자] An ex-contestant of a talent show program Superstar K is finally making his debut after 3 years of intense preparation at YG Entertainment.
The CEO of the entertainment agency, Yang Hyun-seok, made it official on June 20 on YG’s blog dubbed FROM YG.
He explained, “Kang Seung-yoon’s first album will be a mini album with 6 songs, which is nearing its completion. On July 15 his first song, “WILD AND YOUNG” will be unveiled.”
The much-anticipated song is a fruit reaped by YG’s main producer, Teddy, who is revealing a song that is completely different to his past production.
The CEO added, “Kang Seung-yoon’s husky but powerful voice will be perfect for a refreshing change in blazing summer. Unfortunately the song will not be aired on TV and we have not yet confirmed the date of the release, but depending on how the other pending issue goes, the date will be confirmed.”
Kang Seung-yoon spent June 19 and 20 filming his music video of “WILD AND YOUNG” with director Han Sa-min, who also directed BigBang’s “Blue” and 2NE1’s “Lonely”.
Yang will be unveiling his plans for YG’s new boy group on June 21.
