BOBBY’s 2nd Album ‘LUCKY MAN’ Production Behind Story Revealed, “The Reason I Make Music Is…”
[OSEN=지민경 기자] The sincere behind story of BOBBY’s 2nd solo album [LUCKY MAN] has been revealed, creating a gentle sensation among global music fans.
On February 2, YG Entertainment uploaded ‘BOBBY_HiNd EP.1’ through their official blog. The video included BOBBY’s intentions on producing his latest album, his production process, and a sincere interview.
BOBBY expressed himself as a ‘lucky man’. He began his story by stating, “I liked to rap since I was young. It’s fun when something I imagine comes out to the world”. He also expressed himself in 3rd person point of view by stating, “BOBBY is a cheerful friend, a cool friend”, making the viewers smile.
The video continued in sequential order. BOBBY who arrived at the action school to prepare for his MV shooting began practicing, putting in hard work for a better outcome.
BOBBY also calmy confessed his worries he had during his vacancy after winning 1st place on ‘Show Me The Money’ season 3. He revealed his matured inner-self by stating, “Positive thinking. What’s important is what kind of influence I make”.
BOBBY explained, “The track list numbering of my 2nd album has a story” and added, “From the title track ‘U MAD’ to ‘DeViL’, I become stronger while going through ups and downs, and the story repeats”.
Furthermore, BOBBY gathered the people’s attention by confessing, “The reason I music has changed”. He calmly explained his change in values regarding music by stating, “At first it was fun, when I was a trainee, I had to live, I wanted to show my music after making debut, and now I want to make positive influences. That’s the most rewarding”.
In addition, BOBBY revealed his sincere aspects as an ‘artist’ while shooting album photos and working at the studio. The phrase ‘COMING SOON’ and ‘Episode 2’ was revealed at the end of the video, making the fans look forward to the next episode of ‘BOBBY_HiNd’.
BOBBY’s 2nd album [LUCKY MAN] has topped the iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart on the first day of its release, last month on the 25th. The album topped iTunes charts in 12 regions including Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Ireland, and Turkey.
The album was also placed on the top ranks on the US, Brazil, and Spain iTunes chart, as well as dominating the K-Pop and Pop category Album Charts of iTunes Japan, proving his sturdy popularity.
