YG TREASURE, The Fierce Competition on ‘SuperStar YG’… Who’s the ‘Best Gaming’ Member?
[OSEN=김은애 기자] YG TREASURE presented a fierce competition on the mobile rhythm game, ‘SuperStar YG’.
On December 30 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE-SuperStar YG’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official SNS account.
The members of TREASURE displayed strong confidence as it was a game they regularly enjoy and presented a fierce competition.
The first round began with their debut song ‘BOY’ in NORMAL MODE. When the game began, the members concentrated as if they were being immersed into the monitor. The winners of the first round were BANG YE DAM, MASHIHO, ASAHI, DOYOUNG, CHOI HYUN SUK, and HARUTO. The results were unexpected, since the usual TOP3 members of ‘SuperStar YG’ including SO JUNG HWAN, PARK JEONG WOO, and JUNKYU dropped out.
JUNKYU, the daily MC and participant, gave advice on how to win for the fans by yelling, “The R card is very important”. Furthermore, he made the episode more interesting with his professional game broadcaster-like host.
The second round began with the mission song ‘I LOVE YOU’ in NORMAL MODE. HARUTO and ASAHI won by a dominant margin on the second round, while BANG YE DAM also won by a close call, allowing the three members to enter the finals.
Prior to the finals, the y consoled the early dropouts. The mission song was ‘B.L.T (BLING LIKE THIS)’ and everyone was given an R card. The youngest member SO JUNG HWAN became the winner. SO JUNG HWAN already possessed the giveaway prize, so he yielded, leading to a re-battle among the people who wanted the prize. JUNKYU received the highest score, becoming the prize winner.
ASAHI, HARUTO, and BANG YE DAM shared their ambition and determination before beginning the final round and began through the ‘MMM’ HARD MODE. When the game began, the three members showed fast finger skills and strong concentration, having a close run. BANG YE DAM won first place, HARUTO won second place, while ASAHI won third place.
The TOP3 members shared their thoughts before receiving their prizes. BANG YE DAM who won first place showed his confidence as the final winner by stating, “I just let my fingers lead me”. HARUTO stated, “Thank you, I will use the prize well”, while ASAHI stated, “It’s really fun, so you should enjoy it too”, making a warmhearted ending.
Meanwhile, TREASURE has officially announced their comeback on January 11 through their official debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’, gathering the anticipation of many global fans. The people are looking forward to what kind of music and performances TREASURE will present to create ripple effects, after notifying the birth of the 2020 ‘global rookies of the year’ by dominating awards in various year-end award ceremonies.
