BLACKPINK, “We Put in a Lot of Thought on the Title and Date of Our First Online Concert, ‘THE SHOW’”
[OSEN=김은애 기자] BLACKPINK raised anticipation on their upcoming first-ever livestream concert, ‘THE SHOW’.
On December 4, BLACKPINK held ‘THE SHOW’ ANNOUNCEMENT LIVE’ through a YouTube live broadcast.
BLACKPINK shared their thoughts on holding their first-ever livestream concert ‘YG PALM STAGE – 2020 BLACKPINK: THE SHOW’ scheduled on the 27th and stories regarding the concert.
ROSÉ stated, “I’m looking forward to meeting BLINK. I wonder how the fans will react”. JISOO also shared her eagerness by stating, “I’m really excited”.
JISHOO revealed, “I wanted to spend the end of the year meaningfully with BLINK” and added, “I’m practicing everyday”. JENNIE chatted, “You can watch our concert warm in your house with your blanket on”, while LISA added, “You can watch while drinking hot chocolate”.
Regarding the title of the concert, ‘THE SHOW’, ROSÉ explained “We put in a lot of thought on what title would look clean and have meaning”.
JISOO added, “We also put in a lot of thought on the date of the concert, as much as we did on the title of the show”. She continued, “Many people were looking forward to our concert when we were promoting our album”.
ROSÉ also shared her will to cheer people up through their performances and stated, “I think many people had a hard time this year due to unexpected circumstances such as the COVID19 situation”.
