BigBang draws attention in Japan, ranking #1 in DVD sales
BigBang, whose DVD album of Tokyo Dome Concert went on sale, is running the top on Oricon Chart.
According to Japan’s biggest music ranking site, Oricon’s DVD chart, on March 24, BigBang’s DVD of BIGBANG ALIVE TOUR 2012 IN JAPAN SPECIAL FINALIN DOME-TOKYO DOME ranked number one.
The DVD went on sale on March 20, and this is a DVD of BigBang’s large-scale concert that was held in Tokyo Dome on December 12.
The DVD consists of 30 songs in total, including live concert scenes and the making of the concert. The scenes of BigBang members at the concert go on for 230 minutes. Japanese media was in a race to publish the latest news on BigBang even before the DVD went on sale, as if to prove how popular the artists are in Japan.
G-Dragon will hold five concerts, starting April 4, at Japan’s largest stadiums including Fukuoka Yahoo Japan Dome, Seibu Dome and Kyocera Dome.
