On August 19, YG Entertainment revealed, “BLACKPINK’s worldwide comeback preparation is going smoothly” and added, “The 4 members(JISOO·JENNIE·ROSÉ·LISA) are currently on their final comeback preparation process after completing their MV shooting”.
The title of BLACKPINK’s upcoming single is still in veil. Other than the news that world-famous Pop star Selena Gomez participated as a featuring artist, other information are still hidden securely from the public.
Whether Selena Gomez will appear on BLACKPINK’s MV is also a hot topic. She uploaded a photo of a pink vehicle with a license plate which read, ‘Selpink’, on her Instagram account on the 18th. The global fans revealed their expectations and curiosities on BLACKPINK’s MV shooting set.
YG stated, “Please understand that we cannot share any information regarding the upcoming MV at this moment”, but also hinted, “However, BLACKPINK’s upcoming single is very cool, which will go well with the hot summer”.
It is expected to be differentiated from BLACKPINK’s existing mega hits such as ‘Kill This Love’ or ‘How You Like That’.
