YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE is Popular in Indonesia as Well… ‘Surprised by the Passionate Greetings by Local Fans’
[한국경제TV=유병철 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE spent a happy time in Bali, while receiving passionate greetings by the fans of Indonesia.
On May 4 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the first episode of ‘TMI – Bali’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s social media channel.
The revealed episode contained the behind stories of TREASURE’s schedule in Bali. When the group arrived in Incheon International Airport, numerous fans greeted TREASURE after waiting for them.
The members could not hide their excitements prior to their first-ever schedule overseas. While waiting to get on the plane, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, YOON JAE HYUK, MASHIHO, JIHOON, ASAHI, and DOYOUNG revealed their passport photos and surprised the viewers with their photos that were not lacking in looks.
JUNKYU, BANG YE DAM, and SO JUNG HWAN showed passion by studying greetings in Indonesian, prior to getting on the plane. MASHIHO smiled and revealed his excitement on their schedule in Bali by stating, “I was studying about Bali”.
In the plane, CHOI HYUN SUK, JUNKYU, and PARK JEONG WOO grabbed the viewers’ attention through mukbang. The three members ate two bags of peanuts served as appetizers and finished their meal as well as their snacks.
CHOI HYUN SUK and PARK JEONG WOO then made hand hearts and showed appreciation towards the fans who sent off TREASURE in Incheon Airport. JUNKYU added, “I really appreciated. I felt good with all the interest. I love you”.
The day TREASURE left for Bali was JIHOON’s birthday. He revealed his thoughts by stating, “It’s meaningful that I’m heading to Bali with by precious members on my birthday. I’ll be back safe and with good feelings”.
The airport in Indonesia was full of excitement on the news that TREASURE has arrived. The local fans who came to welcome the group filled up the airport with cheers. TREASURE said hi to the fans in Indonesian although they were not familiar with the language, with sincerity. They also waved their hands in bright faces to respond to the fans’ hospitality.
TREASURE then arrived in the beach of Bali, with bright emerald sea. The members enjoyed playing in the sea and had a good time while eating coconuts and ice cream.
While currently on their full-scale debut project this year, TREASURE is meeting the global fans through various contents. In addition to their profile photo series, cover songs, and dance performance videos, they are presenting contents such as ‘TMI’, ‘TREASURE MAP’, ‘Fact Check’, and ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’.
