SONG of iKON Presents Active Participation on ‘Star Crews on Board 2’ as Youngest and Handsome Member
[한경닷컴=신지원 기자] SONG of iKON is putting in energy into the program ‘Star Crews on Board 2’ as the ‘youngest all-around member’.
On the 4th episode of ‘Star Crews on Board 2’ aired through Channel A on the 11th, the 5-member crew of Shin Hyunjun, Hwang Jesung, Eun Jiwon, Uee, and SONG had their second flight to Vladivostok, Russia while the episode presented various stories that happened during the stopover.
SONG challenged a real variety show for the first time ever since debut through ‘Star Crews on Board 2’. He was determined even before the beginning of the show and stated, “I think being a flight attendant is difficult. I will do my best and be sincere, rather than think of it as a variety” during an interview shown on the first episode. As the show progressed, SONG is presenting both his aspects as a professional flight attendant and his lively charms as the youngest member to capture the viewers’ hearts.

During the show, SONG presented his work ethic as a safety personnel. When people began boarding, he eye-contacted each passenger with a bright smile while guiding them to their seats, in addition to working on paid sales without making mistakes. He also showed professionalism by checking the passengers’ seatbelts for their safety.
SONG’s seniors were in awe and praised him for serving the customers with a bright smile throughout the whole time. Manager Kevin chose SONG’s biggest strength as his kindliness and praised him by stating, “He was very kind to the passengers”. SONG showed modesty by responding, “I’ll work harder”. SONG studying a note with flight rules written on it was revealed later through the program, allowing SONG’s model student aspect to fascinate the viewers.

SONG has established himself as ‘Chef Song’ in Kaohsiung, by presenting his cooking skills. While the members were asleep at 4 AM, SONG headed to the market remembering that Shin Hyunjun wanted to eat Bokchoy. He also brought Kimchi from Korea, allowing his sense to cheer up the members in the morning despite the fatigue from their first flight. The members were in awe at his cooking skills, as well as being moved by SONG’s consideration and delicacy to cook for them from the early morning.
SONG rolled up both of his arms once again for his seniors. For a filling breakfast, SONG transformed into a ‘breakfast captain’ and made beef kimchi rice balls in an instant, which put the viewers in awe. The crew members had their thumbs up at SONG’s excellent cook skills.

SONG also showed his passion as a man in his 20s by challenging the ‘Banya’ experience, which is to enter the winter sea of Russia. He charged towards the winter sea among his elders who were hesitating, putting the crew members and local residents in awe.
As mentioned above, SONG makes the people smile with his pureness and passion as the youngest member. The fact that he is carrying on his tasks as a flight attendant with sincerity rather than as a one-time experience also grabs the viewers’ eyes and ears.
His sincere attitude, consideration with sense, friendliness, and frank reactions naturally integrate with the members and lead the vibrant mood of the program.
