The MV for ‘WHISLTE’ surpassed 400M views on YouTube on the 26th, proving the steady interest and attention on the song.

The MV for ‘WHISTLE’ released back in August 8, 2016 marked BLACKPINK’s presence as soon as they made debut. The MV captured the characters and parts of the 4 members with charm along with its colorful and sophisticated visuals, receiving positive feedback from the public.

BLACKPINK also performed well on music charts as a rookie. BLACKPINK achieved a perfect all-kill on real-time, daily, and weekly music charts after the release of ‘WHISTLE’ and maintained the no. 1 spot for 16 consecutive days, establishing themselves as a music chart influencer.

Their double title song ‘BOOMBAYAH’, released along with ‘WHISTLE’, also surpassed 600M views this year. The two MVs are stacking views even to this date, after 3 years since they were released, with the steady love and attention by global music fans.

BLACKPINK has previously surpassed 500M views with their song ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ in 111 days, setting the fastest record in K-Pop group history. They renewed their own record set with ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ as well as setting the best record in K-Pop group history.

The MV for their mega-hit, ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, has already surpassed 800M views and is about to reach 900M views for the ‘first time as a MV released by a K-Pop group’.

While setting milestones on YouTube, BLACKPINK also achieved meaningful results through their first-ever world tour. BLACKPINK sold out tickets for 22 shows from their world tour composed of 32 concerts held in 23 cities of 4 continents, reaching an average seat share of 96.6%. They prove their strong potential by covering unprecedentedly large-scaled shows, even though it was their first-ever world tour.

Following their successful world tour, BLACKPINK will hold a dome tour in Japan consisted of 4 concerts held in 3 cities. Their schedule will begin on December in Tokyo Dome and continue in Osaka Kyocera Dome next year on January, to Fukuoka Yafuoku! Dome on February.
