WINNER Revisits New York in 5 Years, ‘Time Travel’… Transfers Tips
[OSEN=선미경기자] Group WINNER became reminiscent in New York after visiting the city in 5 years for their North America tour, while falling in love for their fans.
Today(6th) at 10 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 12 of the ‘W-LOG’, which covers the daily lives of WINNER in a vlog format through their official YouTube channel.
After arriving in New York, JINU seemed to be familiar with the place when he stated, “I haven’t been in New York for 5 years, but I feel like I’ve visited this place in between”. HOONY stated, “I received the same feeling I did when I first came here, rather than feeling something new”.
The members of WINNER have previously visited New York back in 2014, for their debut project. Everything was exciting back then. They still do now, but something felt different.
The members were proud that their visit this time was for their concert. YOON smiled while stating, “I feel like returning home in glory”.
YOON and MINO visited Times Square located in Manhattan, which is the most crowded district of the city. The Two people presented freewheeling harmony and looked back through their memorable places.
MINO stated, “We remember most of the places we walked here”. He reminisced while explaining, “We were so excited that we came out during break although we were still jetlagged’.
YOON thought about how he was forced(?) to purchase 5 empty CDs from the musicians in the streets, 5 years ago. He did not fall for it again this time, and even transferred tour tips after his confidence rose.
However, what made him the happiest was an event prepared by the fans. While walking down the street, YOON spotted a billboard celebrating his 26th birthday on Times Square. He was so happy that he even shouted, expressing his gratitude towards his fans. WINNER cherished the precious memories from their last North America tour schedule with their local fans in New York through W-LOG.
Meanwhile, WINNER will make comeback on the 15th and revisit their fans with new music by releasing an EP album in approximately 5 months.
