iKON’s Japan Tour Starts and ‘Fascinates 32,000 Fans’… ‘Great Performances+Sing-Along’

[스포츠조선닷컴=이지현 기자] iKON made a fantastic start of the first concert from their Japan tour, fascinating local fans.
From August 24 to 26, iKON held the ‘iKON JAPAN TOUR 2018’ in Fukuoka International Center for 3 days. The group fascinated a total of 32,000 fans after visiting Japan in approximately 8 months since they performed through ‘iKON X’mas LIVE 2017’ last year on December.
iKON held a Japan dome tour titled ‘iKON JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017’ last year, in 1 year and 9 months since made debut in Korea. The group proved their popularity by gathering a total of 470,000 audiences during the year through 35 concerts in 10 cities.
iKON started this year’s tour with their recent release titled, ‘KILLING ME’. The group’s fantastic group dance heated up the stage and the crowd responded with a huge roar. iKON performed various new songs after explaining, “We’ve released many new songs this year and we prepared to perform them live”.
iKON not only performed their well-known hits including ‘DUMB&DUMBER’ and ‘MY TYPE’, but also new songs from the album ‘RETURN’ released on January and ‘NEW KIDS:CONTINUE’ released on the 2nd. The fans filled up the stadium bu singing along when the group performed ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. iKON and the fans became one and successfully completed the concert finale, filling up the people’s hearts with warmth.
iKON will now perform in Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium from 9/4 to 9/5, Tokyo International Forum Hall from 9/13 to 9/14, Kanagawa Pacifico Yokohama University Hall on 9/24, Aichi Nagoya Kokusai Kaigijo Century Hall on 9/26 and 9/28, Tokyo Budokan from 11/6 to 11/7, and in Osaka Kyocera Dome from 12/22 to 12/23 for the finale. They are expected to gather 206,000 fans though a total of 17 concerts in 5 cities.
iKON will release the Japanese version of their 2nd album, ‘RETURN’ on September 26. The album will contain a total of 11 tracks including 10 Japanese version songs, and its title track ‘LOVE SCENARIO’.
