WINNER Reveals Title of 2nd Official Album, ‘EVERYD4Y’
[스포츠서울=신혜연기자] The title of WINNER’s 2nd official album, which will be releasing on April 4 in 4 years, turned out to be ‘EVERYD4Y’.
Today (26th) at 9 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the title of WINNER’s 2nd official album, ‘EVERYD4Y’, as they uploaded a new teaser poster on their official blog (www.yg-life.com).
YG’s representative producer, YANG HYUN SUK, recently emphasized that WINNER’s 2nd album will be an “album you will listen to every day” through his Instagram captions, which was a hint indicating the title of WINNER’s new album.
The title ‘EVERYD4Y’ added more meaning by replacing the alphabet ‘A’ with WINNER’s symbolic number, ‘4’. WINNER who had a fresh start as a 4-member group on April 4 last year, will reveal their new official album on April 4 again this year, in 4 years since they released their first official album. As they are unprecedentedly releasing a new song on the same day for two consecutive years, they made it official that ‘April 4th=WINNER DAY’.
The appearances of members in the revealed poster with the album title were also impressive. The 4 members are sitting on a couch while putting arms around each other’s shoulders and leaning on each other. They displayed mischievous facial expressions while playing around with each other. The bromance of the 4 members displayed in a relaxed environment captures the viewers’ attention.
WINNER is planning to display their broadened musical spectrum through their 2nd official album, releasing in 4 years. They will aim for another hit with fresh sounds distinguished from their previous releases including ‘REALLY REALLY’ and ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’.
Previously, WINNER dominated the top ranks in music charts for over a month with the song ‘REALLY REALLY’, and established their unique sound. They also set a milestone by achieving 100 million chart-in streams for the first time as male-idols, becoming one of the hottest idol groups.
