[Oh!커피 한 잔] ‘정글’ PD “아이콘 송윤형? YG 시크함과는 다르더라”
[OSEN=박진영 기자] The production crew of Law of the Jungle praised iKON’s YOON for being charming as the youngest of the cast.
On the October 27th episode of SBS’s Law of the Jungle, viewers will be able to watch what happens to the cast members who will be joining the team later. The title of the season is “Law of the Jungle in the Garden of the Gods”. They will have to survive in Taveuni Island, which is a special island even among the 320 islands in Fiji, so much so it called as the Garden of the Gods by the locals.
Apink’s Park Cho-rong and Yoon Bo-mi and iKON’s YOON were put to a test to see if they can survive on this island. The producer of the show Kim Jin-ho recently told OSEN, “YOON have watched this show so many times. He remembered everything about the show when I interviewed him. It’s his first time in the jungle, but I knew he would be great. And he didn’t disappoint me. He did so well.”
He went on to say, “YG artists have a chic image. But YOON was not like that at all. The older members of the cast would call him and he would answer and go right to them. So, he did his job well as the youngest. When we interviewed him afterwards, we told him that our image of him changed so much and everyone seemed to be really comfortable around him. He told us this was exactly what he intended. He was so happy that he achieved his goal of making the rest of the cast feel comfortable around him.”
According to the production crew, YOON wanted to go to the jungle more than anyone else. On the show, he put into practice everything he learned from watching the show and really enjoyed himself. Although he was the youngest, he was good at fishing, diving, and cooking, proving that he is indeed a big fan of the jungle.
Meanwhile, this episode of Law of the Jungle features five jungle survival experts. Lee Moon Sik was almost as good as Lee Byung Man and was passionate about building the house, and Lee Tae Gon is known to be a big fan of fishing. Ryu Dam appeared on the show most frequently barring Lee Byung Man. Gangnam is now a regular on the show and the right hand of Lee Byung Man. Jeong Jinwoon is a romantic jungle lover. They will be showing what they got on this episode of Law of the Jungle.
Taveuni Island boasts lush forests, huge waterfalls and lakes, coral reefs, and natural water slides that’s been around for 3,500 years. The Taveuni Island episode of Law of the Jungle will air on October 27.
