“MIX & MATCH”’s YANG HYUN SUK Smiles on BOBBY-DONG HYUK-JIN HYEONG’s Performance
[OSEN=오민희 기자] The pre-match of “MIX & MATCH” has begun. YG’s head producer YANG HYUN SUK smiled on the performance of BOBBY, DONG HYUK, and JIN HYEONG who first appeared on the stage.
In “MIX & MATCH” show aired on the 25 at 11pm, a pre-match began, building up tension among the members.
YANG said “The real mix and match that will sort out seven out of nine of you begins today. Today’s performance is more like a test, rather than a real competition”, but he added that the members should have a stronger sense of urgency, heightening the members’ tension.
BOBBY’s team came upon the stage first. KIM DONG HYUK sang “rolling in the deep” as the main vocal. Before he came on the stage, KIM DONG HYUK said, “The part and composition should be made well, and I’m worried about that”. However, he created a performance of his own color and satisfied YANG HYUN SUK.
Adding to that, BOBBY caught eyes with a surprise performance of breaking a guitar and then with a charismatic rapping.
Meanwhile, the members of iKON will be selected 70% by viewers’ vote and 30% by judges’ vote. The members will be mixed in a variety of combinations and engage in three matches. The first match will be evaluated by YG producers and second by outside producers. The third match of the members grown through the previous two matches will have the biggest weight, according to YG.
“MIX & MATCH” is aired on every Thursday at 11pm, and can be reviewed on NAVER TV Cast and YG’s official blog. Plus, NAVER TV Cast will provide behind-the-scene “multi-track” images of each member taken from different angles.
