[텐아시아=김지원 기자] YG’s new girl group BABYMONSTER has revealed the debut visuals of all its members. HARAM, the sixth member to be introduced, has completed the final piece of the puzzle with her new stage name, RAMI.
YG Entertainment posted ‘BABYMONSTER – VISUAL FILM | RAMI’ and ‘BABYMONSTER – VISUAL PHOTO | RAMI’ on their official blog on the 23rd.
In a clean white space, RAMI captivates with photogenic poses and a model-like physique. She showcased her hip charm by pairing a striking red dress with unique hair accessories. Her deep, engaging eyes were particularly captivating.
According to YG, RAMI, despite being only 16, continues the lineage of ‘YG-style’ authentic vocals with her soulful sensibility and unique timbre. She is a Korean member known for her solid live and dance skills, as well as her ability to reinterpret songs with her own musical color.
Regarding the new stage name RAMI, YG mentioned, “It was inspired by the nickname used by other members who often called HARAM as ‘RAMI’ by dropping ‘HA’ from HARAM.” They added, “RAMI also carries the dictionary meanings of ‘beloved’, ‘happiness’, and ‘first light’. We hope RAMI’s voice will become a singer who delivers love and happiness to everyone.”
