MINO Reveals Poster for ‘Fiancé’… Fierce Aura + Irreplaceable Charms
[매경닷컴 MK스포츠=신연경 기자] Group WINNER’s MINO additionally revealed a poster of ‘Fiancé’ with the release of his first solo album only 7 days ahead.
On November 19 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the teaser poster for ‘Fiancé’, the title song from MINO’s first official album, ‘XX’, notifying the start of promotional activities on the album.
MINO emitted strong aura while wearing a unique suit in checkered pattern in the poster. He completed his sensuous styling with a beret and boots, emitting irreplaceable charms and charisma.
The phrase ‘MINO FIRST SOLO ALBUM : XX 2018. 11. 26′ written on the bottom notified that MINO’s first solo album release is only 7 days ahead.
The title of the album, ‘XX’, came up with MINO’s own idea that he wants his album to be interpreted in various ways without defining and limiting its definition. Like the title of the album ‘XX’, people are getting curious on what kind of concept MINO will newly present.
MINO’s ‘Fiancé’ is a song is a fierce and trendy Hip-Hop genre but will present unexpected charms by sampling ‘Soyanggang Maid’, which is familiar to the public.
MINO introduced his song by stating, “It could be familiar or unfamiliar” and added, “That’s why there are more interesting elements. Please pay attention to the lyrics”.
‘Fiancé’ was written and composed by MINO himself to raise the completion of the song to its max. Producers FUTURE BOUNCE and TEXU also participated in the composing of the song.
MINO has been revealing his presence not only as a member of WINNER, but also as a solo artist. He proved his potential through hits including ‘I’M HIM’, ‘Fear’, and ‘Okey Dokey’. He also received positive reviews for his self-written track titled ‘TURN OFF THE LIGHT’, listed on WINNER’s album released on April.
WINNER has received love from the younger generation this year by releasing ‘EVERYDAY’ and is gathering many people for months everywhere they go, through their Asia tour. While WINNER’s North America tour is scheduled to start on mid-January next year, people are wondering what kind of music MINO will present as a ‘solo artist’ through his first official solo album.
